General and Surgical Ophthalmology
Dr. Wallshein is a board certified ophthalmologist. He trained at Boston University School of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree. During that time he spent his first ophthalmology training experience at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, which is part of Harvard University. Thereafter, he went to Worcester Medical Center for his internship year. His formal training in Ophthalmology was obtained at the prestigious Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Wallshein specializes in cataract, diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eye conditions, lid disease, blepharitis, Botox and cosmetic lid surgery.
Wayne C. Barish, M.D. is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist. Doctor Barish has had extensive and varied training in the fields of ophthalmology as well as internal medicine. Dr Barish has attended the well known schools of New York University and the State University of New York atBinghamton. This was followed by Internal Medicine Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, an ophthalmology pre-residency fellowship at Tufts University, an ophthalmology residency at Interfaith Medical Center and concluded training with a prestigious fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Rochester under the guidance of James Aquavella, M.D., a pioneer in corneal surgery.
Dr. Barish utilizes the latest techniques and technology for state of the art cataract and laser surgery. He also performs bladeless LASIK and refractive surgery. He is a specialist in the treatment of Dry Eye Syndromes and Corneal diseases. Additionally, Dr. Barish maintains a passion and artistictalent for the cosmetic use of BOTOX and skin fillers like Juviderm and others.
Brad D. Simons, MD, PhD, is a board certified, fellowship-trained Neuro- Ophthalmologist and Pediatric Ophthalmologist. He is delighted to be practicing throughout Palm Beach County, where he is committed to providing high quality care to his patients. He earned his medical degree from Brown University and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Simons' extensive training has made him a leader in his chosen fields. He has over 40 publications in national and international peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals and ophthalmic textbooks, including subjects such as photoscreening for amblyogenic risk factors in children, retinopathy of prematurity, management and surgical management of congenital ptosis and cataracts, and surgical management of cranial nerve palsies. He has also directed national and international clinical trials in ophthalmology.
Specializing in medical and surgical retina
Robert Raden is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in disease of the retina. He underwent an additional two years beyond ophthalmology residency in training for training in retinal and macular disease. His fellowship was performed at the Foundation for Retinal Research in New Orleans LA. His residency training was completed at Montefiore Hospital and his medical degree was completed at the fine institution of Albert Einstein in New York. He specializes in macular degeneration, diabetes eye disease, retinal detachment, floaters, flashing lights and other retinal disorders.
